Everything MAXERO ships is built on one platform: the same power stage, the same controller and the same firmware, whether it is mounted on a garage wall or standing in a car park.
That decision costs more up front. A pedestal unit does not need the compact power stage a wall unit does, and a domestic installation will never use the certified meter a commercial one requires. Building one board for both means over-specifying half the fleet.
The return is that a fix written once reaches every unit. When we improved the handshake with a particular vehicle model last spring, the update went out to every charger we have ever sold in a single overnight window. There was no hardware revision, no service visit and no compatibility matrix for anyone to read.
It also keeps the interface consistent. Drivers who learn one MAXERO unit have learned all of them, which matters more than it sounds when someone charges at home on a weekday and at their office on a Thursday.
The platform is deliberately conservative in one respect: it does not depend on the internet to charge a car. Connectivity brings scheduling, monitoring and billing, and all of it degrades gracefully. Pull the network and the unit still delivers power, still balances load and still logs every session for later.
